QThe road behind my house has lots of potholes and potentially dangerous overhanging trees. Who can I report this to?

P Green, Northants Yours says You can help map and report street problems (including full bins and fly tipping) anywhere in the UK, using the free website www. fixmystreet.com. Just pop in the postcode to see if this issue has been reported previously. If not, you can complete the online form and add a photo as evidence. This will then be flagged up to the local authority responsible for fixing them.

QI’d like to add extra security to my conservatory doors. Can you recommend anything?

G Hobbs, by email Yours says The Patlock security device is endorsed by police and crime prevention organisations. It easily slides over two internal handles, preventing external handles from being used. This ensures the door mechanism remains in the locked position even if the locks are damaged or removed.

QMy auntie lives alone and although I try to call her daily, she rarely interacts with other people. Are there any volunteer services that can help?

Jen, Market Rasen Yours says Call In Time is a national befriending service provided by Age UK. They can match your aunt with a volunteer befriender who shares similar interests. The volunteer will call once a week at an agreed time for a friendly chat. Calls are free and everyone’s safety is protected by an automatic connection service so no phone numbers need to be exchanged.

■ To register as a befriender or to receive a call, dial 0800 434 6105 or visit www.ageuk.org. uk/services/befriending-services/sign-up-fortelephone-befriending/
