Q I have loved volunteering through lockdown, but it has slowed down quite a bit and I’m finding myself with more spare time. Is there another organisation that I can help virtually?
April, Ashford Yours says Be My Eyes is a global community that connects people who are blind or have low vision with sighted volunteers.
On the app, volunteers assist users through a live video link and work together to tackle challenges and handle a wide range of tasks. Since the launch, more than four million volunteers have signed up to assist Be My Eyes users, who can request support in more than 180 languages.
Q I have a surplus of seeds – can a charity make use of them?
Mick, Wisbech Yours says Since 2015, the Lemon Tree Trust has supported refugees, and communities of forced migrants, to create home and community gardens, garden competitions and education projects, with a particular focus on women coming together as a community. While the gardeners grow a range of plants, they are willing to try new things so are grateful to receive fruit, veg and herb seeds too.

Q I have a beautiful jigsaw that I completed and would like to hang on the wall – where do I start?
Mrs Appleyard, by email
Yours says You can try glue sheets, a no-mess solution that peel and stick to your jigsaw, or there’s Mod Podge Puzzle Saver, which will dry to a high gloss in 15 minutes. You can then find the correct size frame to complement the puzzle and your décor.
