Q

I have a lovely bicycle but over the years I’ve tried gel and so-called wider saddles and covers but none really make a difference. Are there any wide saddles that may make it a more comfortable ride?

Karen, Lincs

Yours says The West Biking saddle is 32cm wide, while the No-Nose saddle is 26cm wide, but doesn’t have the saddle nose that is often associated with pain. Both are available on Aliexpress.com for under £20.

Q

My granddaughter hates sunscreen, especially on her face. Now the weather’s getting warmer, is there an alternative to a cream or spray?

Yours says The handy little Soltan Kids Sunstick from Boots may be TRIED & just what you need. TESTED At SPF50+, it goes on smoothly; no need to rub in. It’s very gentle on skin and doesn’t sting the eyes.

■ £3.50 from Boots.com

Q

My neighbour has always been independent but has let her family move in to ‘care for her’. From what I can glean from our supervised coffee mornings, they aren’t kind to her. I’d like to get some advice, but who can I contact to help?

Anonymous

Your says One in six older people are victims of abuse. Hourglass is the UK’s only charity focused on the abuse and neglect of older people, who staff a free-to-call, 24/7 confidential helpline and it won’t appear on the phone bill. It’s an absolute lifeline for older men, women and their families suffering from the five forms of abuse: physical, psychological, financial, sexual or neglect. Don’t hesitate to ask for advice as support is available.

Q

I loved going to the West End, but now money is a bit tighter, I find the shows too expensive. How do I find out about any last-minute deals without being in London?

Chrissie, Kent

Yours says Seats in the top shows can be expensive, but there are a couple of other options to get better seats at a more competitive price. Shows such as Matilda and Cinderella run a seat lottery from their websites, where you’ll enter to buy a pair of top price tickets for as little as £25 each. The free app TodayTix has even more show lotteries and offers from £10.

Q

I’m not good with technology so still use my VHS video to record programmes, but the recordings are no longer good quality and I can’t seem to buy the tapes. Are they still available?

Olive, Cambs

Yours says

Unfortunately, VHS tapes weren’t made to be recycled, so if you can reuse them, it keeps them out of landfill. It may be something simple like the head needs cleaning and if you can, ask a friend to order them online for you; both VHS tapes and head cleaning sets are available from Amazon.
