A new, younger wizard in the Tower originating from the Celtic Norf.

Good day to you all my fellow adventurers! Please, come in and rest your weary typing fingers in my tower sanctuary high above the majestic halls of

ZZAP! Towers. With the summertime in full swing and this year's solstice just behind us I'm pleased to report that there's no shortage of new and exciting Commodore adventures being released and developed, many of which are so tantalisingly close to completion. Gazing into my crystal ball and scrying bowl this month I'm rather excited to report that the hotly anticipated release of Hibernated 1 – The Directors Cut is finally here, and not just for the C64! I also see news of an intriguing graphic adventure game from lands far away that has been converted into our native tongue for us all to enjoy.

Our first review this month is of Michael

Cox's short but eerie text adventure for the C64 titled Ghost Mountain and then for this month's second review, I'm really excited to bring you French Interactive fiction author Davide Bucci's latest text adventure, Silk Dust which has been released for not one but five different 8-bit Commodore systems.

I invite you all to come with me as we travel onwards onto this month's Chronicles news and reviews.
