ZZAP! 64

THE ZZAP! FAMILY

-

Dear Lloyd,

I love my physical ZZAP! collection and would never part with it. I often just dip in and have a read of a random issue. Retro joy indeed.

I'd very much like to know how the powers that be at ZZAP! Towers view the ‘anomaly' issues? That is, are they considered ‘canon' or are they just looked upon as distant cousins?

1. ZZAP! 64 issue 107 — March 2002 — an awesome 36 page one-off issue. Not sure how rare it is? It would be fascinating to find out how many copies exist.

2. The DEF-tribute to ZZAP! 64 (free with Retro Gamer) — another truly great issue from 2005, celebrating 20 years of ZZAP!

I also have the promo issue of LM (named after you no less!), which came free with the Christmas 1986 issue and was just WAY ahead of its time…

I have thoroughly enjoyed the trilogy of ZZAP! 64 Annuals, but I do prefer the new bimonthly A5 magazine format and binder. It's a triumph!

Best, Antony

We are proud that the amazing Commodore scene put all the effort in to create such brilliant new editions of ZZAP! And yes, these editions are truly a part of the ZZAP! family.
