Have you ever seen a UFO? No? You know of their existence, though... machines of unknown origin, piloted by alien beings who are covertly observing our world. Except... they're not machines. Those UFOs ARE the alien beings, and before they can visit us they have to prove their flying ability is up to the job.

That's right, these saucer-shaped creatures are born, not manufactured, and as baby UFOs, they must tackle tricky, obstacle-strewn courses to gain flight experience and the skills required to make intergalactic

travel. UFOs have the ability to tilt and thrust, and over the course of the training exercise they will become expert at judging the tiniest of gaps... or die

trying!

The Leilei Relay is the most legendary training course ever devised for UFOs, and only the best will make it through. Each level of the relay contains a number of lanterns, and all must be collected before a level is deemed complete. Should the UFO make it through all the levels they will ascend to the UFO Cathedral, where they will be given the title of Grand Master. They'll now be qualified to visit Earth where they will no doubt be attacked from all angles by hostile Earthlings, but that's a different game altogether!
