Healthy snacks are im­por­tant for adults and es­pe­cially chil­dren. To­day, kids are al­ways on the run so it is im­por­tant to stock their back­pack with de­li­cious and nu­tri­tious snacks. Eat­ing healthy snacks can help them stay en­er­gized dur­ing the day and keep them from overeat­ing at reg­u­lar meal­times or re­sort­ing to junk food when hunger strikes. A healthy snack is also a great op­por­tu­nity to add fruit, veg­eta­bles, fiber, protein and dairy they need in their diet.

These healthy snacks will not only help bridge the gap be­tween lunch and din­ner but give kids the fuel needed for their af­ter-school ac­tiv­i­ties.
