The regional winners needd a minimumii of f five years as a chief education officer and are judged on their record of service as educators. There were three regional winners and they all “are excellent role models for all aspiring chief education officers to emulate,” NJASA Executive Director Dr. Richard G. During Fried’s tenure in Harrington Park he has overseen the implementation of several initiatives “that radically transformed the learning culture of the district while increasing student achievement and staff engagement,” the school board said in a press release.
