F-150 POWER STROKE EARNS 30 MPG
When Ford announced it would offer a 3.0L Power Stroke diesel V-6 in the
2018 F-150, it was aiming for a
30-mpg fuel economy target for the truck. Recent EPA tests have confirmed 30 mpg on the highway, along with 22 city and
25 combined. Ford also released power output numbers of 250 hp and 440 lb-ft of torque for the diesel. The Power Stroke–equipped
F-150 has a max tow rating of
11,400 pounds and two max payload ratings: 1,940 pounds for retail-version trucks, 2,020 pounds for XL and XLT models available to fleet buyers. F-150s with Power Stroke diesels should be shipping to dealers now.
