’19 F-150 GETS A 450HP V-6!
“Baja fierceness style” and boardroom
The high-output version of Ford’s 3.5L EcoBoost V-6 engine, which produces 450 hp and 510 lb-ft of torque, will be available in the premium Limited version of the F-150 for the 2019 model year. This gives the Limited “Baja fierceness, boardroom style, and the grit to tackle tough jobs,” says Ford.
Pickups at the high end of the market continue to grow in popularity, and Ford is working to make sure F-150 remains competitive in the segment. In addition to the power boost, Ford has updated the Limited’s interior with a suede headliner, new Camel Back two-tone leather upholstery, ash swirl-wood trim, and aluminum-wrapped instrument bezels. The front seats offer a massaging feature, and the holes in the seat leather have been enlarged to improve ventilation. The new Limited models will be in showrooms “later this year,” says Ford.
