Dave Chappelle: 2011 Jeep Wrangler JK

4 Wheel & Off Road - - CONTENTS -

DRIVER: Dave Chappelle CO-DRIVER: Mike Harringtom

If you watch Dirt Every Day you likely recognize Dirt Head Dave Chappelle. He builds some really unique vehicles, such as his solid-axle Isuzu Amigo and his bagged Toyota Hilux, but this year he was driving Offroad Power Products’ JK, Stretch. Chappelle has been working on a regular-cab F-250, but since it wasn’t done in time, OPP was gracious enough to lend him the Cummins-powered two-door Wrangler featuring a 10-inch suspension stretch. He is likely spoiled now by creature comforts like A/C and cruise control.

FAVORITE PART OF THE TRIP: I like going on the UA because it gives me a chance to hang out with old friends, meet new enthusiastic readers, and wheel the most difficult trails we can find in whichever part of the country we end up in. The Northeast is especially cool because of its huge rock outcroppings combined with dense forest. >DRIVETRAIN
