RHINO-RACK BACK­BONE RACK

For late-model Rams and Toy­ota Tun­dras, Rhino-Rack now of­fers the Back­bone sys­tem. It is de­signed to dis­trib­ute the ex­tra weight and pres­sure of rooftop cargo with­out risk­ing the canopy’s in­tegrity, dis­tribut­ing stress evenly over the body of the ve­hi­cle. The rack has a static load rat­ing of 704 pounds and a dy­namic load rat­ing of 220 pounds at an over­all weight of 63 pounds. Con­struc­tion is from stain­less steel for cor­ro­sion-re­sis­tance. Rugged Radios in­tro­duces the RRP696 Blue­tooth intercom with en­hanced mu­sic con­trols that al­low shuf­fling mu­sic playlists. AEV’s en­try into the GM mar­ket in­cludes a ded­i­cated wheel for the 2015-cur­rent Colorado ZR2 pickup. The 17x8 Crestone DualS­port wheel can be con­fig­ured three dif­fer­ent ways to op­ti­mize on-road and off-road per­for­mance: as a stan­dard wheel with no ring, with a protection ring, or with a full DOT-com­pli­ant bead­lock ring (check lo­cal reg­u­la­tions for street use). Tested to strin­gent SAE J2530 stan­dards, the Crestone is cast from heat-treated A356 T6 alu­minum to max­i­mize strength (2,400-pound rat­ing)while min­i­miz­ing weight.
