Fabtech’s up­per con­trol arm sys­tem pro­vides a 31⁄2-inch ride height in­crease over stock with­out cre­at­ing sus­pen­sion bind at full droop. Lift is ac­com­plished with steel spac­ers that uti­lizes the fac­tory coilover shocks. The re­place­ment up­per con­trol arms ad­dress the ge­om­e­try of the front sus­pen­sion at the new ride height for proper align­ment. Heavy-duty ball joints al­low for ex­tended travel to elim­i­nate bind­ing. Due to the new GM 1500 sus­pen­sion ge­om­e­try of the 2019 there is no dif­fer­en­tial drop brack­ets re­quired for the CV axles to op­er­ate prop­erly.
