This New Year’s Eve, DAYS OF OUR LIVES’ Jennifer is in for a shock! “You’re gonna die when you see the show,” enthuses portrayer Melissa Reeves. “It was a script like I hadn’t read in years!”
The In Depth Story: The party at Doug’s Place is full of surprises, beginning with the return of Eve, who’d left town in search of a fresh start. However, when she crashes the bash, “Eve comes in with her guns blazing!” declares portrayer, Kassie DePaiva. “She’s back to take Jennifer down.”
Eve’s arrival is soon to be overshadowed by that of someone even more unexpected: Jack! But if he’s alive, where has he been since 2012? “When we all see him, it’s pretty crazy,” previews Casey Moss (JJ). “It’s very heavy, and there are a lot of emotions.”
High on that list is a feeling of betrayal. How could Jack have abandoned his family again? “Jennifer is both happy and heartbroken,” previews Reeves. “You’ll see the twist, but you won’t be furious when it’s explained — it’s insane!”
How is Eve, who also has a past with Jack, involved in his reappearance? All Jack’s portrayer, Matthew Ashford, will say is that “I couldn’t have imagined it better.”
Before Eve could whisk Jack away, Jennifer reminded her not-sodead hubby that they had six New Year’s Eve kisses to make up for.
