Woman arrested following repo tiff
GALWAY — A 23-yearold Saratoga County woman tried to drive her car off a tow truck after it had been repossessed, sheriff’s deputies said Saturday.
About 7:30 a.m. Friday, Destiny M. Robinson of
East Street, Galway, tried to take back the car near her home, deputies said, when the car partially dislodged from the truck and lunged toward the tow truck driver who was outside the vehicle.
She also allegedly allowed a child to remain unattended in the park while she ran after the car.
She’s charged with felony reckless endangerment and misdemeanors of endangering the welfare of a child and criminal tampering. She was arraigned and released to the pre-trial services, deputies said.
Woman stole, forged check at grocery
GLENVILLE — Town police said Saturday they arrested a Warren County woman after she used a stolen and forged check to get credit in another person’s name without their knowledge.
Andrea Butler, 21, of Marion Avenue, Warrensburg, was charged Thursday with the felonies of identity theft and grand larceny and a misdemeanor charge of stolen property possession. The incident occurred at the Glenville Hannaford store on May
28, police said.
Butler was released on an appearance ticket to appear in court on June 14.
