Woman ar­rested fol­low­ing repo tiff

GALWAY — A 23-yearold Saratoga County woman tried to drive her car off a tow truck af­ter it had been re­pos­sessed, sher­iff’s deputies said Satur­day.

About 7:30 a.m. Fri­day, Destiny M. Robin­son of

East Street, Galway, tried to take back the car near her home, deputies said, when the car par­tially dis­lodged from the truck and lunged to­ward the tow truck driver who was out­side the ve­hi­cle.

She also al­legedly al­lowed a child to re­main unat­tended in the park while she ran af­ter the car.

She’s charged with felony reck­less en­dan­ger­ment and mis­de­meanors of en­dan­ger­ing the wel­fare of a child and crim­i­nal tam­per­ing. She was ar­raigned and re­leased to the pre-trial ser­vices, deputies said.

Woman stole, forged check at gro­cery

GLENVILLE — Town po­lice said Satur­day they ar­rested a War­ren County woman af­ter she used a stolen and forged check to get credit in an­other per­son’s name with­out their knowl­edge.

Andrea But­ler, 21, of Mar­ion Av­enue, War­rens­burg, was charged Thurs­day with the felonies of iden­tity theft and grand lar­ceny and a mis­de­meanor charge of stolen prop­erty pos­ses­sion. The in­ci­dent oc­curred at the Glenville Han­naford store on May

28, po­lice said.

But­ler was re­leased on an ap­pear­ance ticket to ap­pear in court on June 14.
