Wood­work­ing show re­turns

The Northville Ro­tary Club’s 10th an­nual Wood­work­ing & Fine Arts Week­end cel­e­brates “A Decade of Shows,” July 20-22 at the Bradt Mu­nic­i­pal Build­ing and Town Park, 412 S. Main St., Northville.

The week­end will be filled with demon­stra­tions, raf­fles and a silent auc­tion and will show­case work from more than 60 artists. Wood­work­ers, painters, jew­el­ers, pho­tog­ra­phers, weavers, pot­ters and oth­ers will dis­play their work with items avail­able to buy. The event will also fea­ture artists Mar­ion Kratky and John L. Wdowin.

Kratky is a painter from Northville, known for her land­scapes. Wdowin, of West­dale, Oneida County, and Mesa, Ariz., is a master wood­turner who cre­ates water­proof vases. At­ten­dees can meet both artists at a re­cep­tion from 5to8p.m.july20.

Event hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Satur­day and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sun­day. Pro­ceeds will be used through­out the year to pro­vide stu­dent schol­ar­ships and sup­port com­mu­nity groups and projects of Ro­tary In­ter­na­tional. For de­tails, con­tact Sue Owens at sowens26@gmail.com.
