QUEENSBURY — Helen Mary Mozal, 101, of Queensbury, passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2018, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born at the family home on River Street in Hudson Falls, on January 17, 1917, the daughter of the late Wesley and Tekla (Montville) Zack. She was employed at Things Shoe Store in Glens Falls as an office manager prior to raising her children. Helen was extremely proud of her Lithuanian and Polish heritage. She loved spending time with her children and grandchild­ren in her daily routine as well as on holidays. She was a supportive wife, especially in her husband’s business ventures. The education of her children and seeing them succeed was important to her. Helen enjoyed sewing, crocheting, playing the piano and ethnic cooking. In her younger years, she and her husband received the Queensbury Home Beautifica­tion award, which reflected her love of gardening. In addition to her parents, Helen was predecease­d by her husband, Joseph Mozal; her sisters, Lucy Marciniak and Mary Donovick; and her brothers, Henry, Wesley and Theodore Zack; her sister-in-law, Victoria Mladzianow­ski; and her brother-in-law, Raymond Mozal. Helen is survived by her daughter, Carol Ann Danner and her husband Paul of Clifton Park; her son, Richard Mozal of Queensbury; and by her granddaugh­ters, Brooke Mozal of Queensbury and Makayla Adrianna Mozal of Queensbury; and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 3, at the Singleton Sullivan Potter Funeral Home, 407 Bay Rd., Queensbury, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 3, at St. Mary’s Church, Warren St., Glens Falls, NY. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Hudson Falls, NY.
