Civic Players announce schedule
The Schenectady Civic Players will present the following five plays for the 2018-2019 main stage production of its 91st season at 12 South Church St.:
■ Oct. 12 to 14 and 17 to 21: “The Madwoman of Chaillot” by Jean Giraudoux, translation by Maurice Valency, directed by Chris Howard.
■ Dec. 7 to 9 and 12 to
16: “Looking at Christmas” by Steven Banks, directed by Mark Stephens. Auditions Sept. 11 and 13. ■ Jan. 25 to 27 and
Jan. 30 to Feb. 3: “The Babylon Line” by Richard Greenberg, directed by Christopher Foster. Auditions Nov. 6 and 8.
■ March 15 to 17 and 20 and 24: “And Then There Were None” by Agatha Christie, directed by
Brian Sheldon. Auditions Jan. 8 and 10.
■ May3to5and8to12: “Ballroom” by Jerome Kass and Billy Goldenberg, directed by Duncan Morrison and music direction by Val Lord. Auditions March 3 and 5.
Founded in 1927, SCP is the Capital Region’s oldest, longest-running, continually operating community theater.
Single tickets cost $20 each and season subscriptions for the five plays cost $65.
