Osborn memorial golf tournament

LAKE GEORGE — The Ben Osborn Memorial Fund is hosting its 2018 Charity Golf Tournament beginning at 10 a.m., Sept. 28th at the Top of the World Golf Course.

The entry fee is $125 per player, including a cart, 18 holes of golf, lunch, free keg beer, water and soft drinks. Guests are welcome and individuals will be paired with other players.

The tournament will be a four-man scramble and anyone sinking a hole-inone shot will win you a brand new Chevrolet.

There will also be a closest-to-the-pin contest and a straight-line-drive contest and a longestdrive contest with male and female divisions and prizes for low score and low team score.

A reception with live music, hors d’oeuvres and an awards ceremony will immediately follow.

Paws in the Park walk planned

TROY — The Mohawk Hudson Humane Society is seeking animal lovers to participate in its 9th Annual Paws in the Park Walk for Animals, presented by 4 Paws Veterinary Care, beginning at 10 a.m. Sept. 29 at Joe Bruno Stadium, 80 Vandenburgh Ave.

Participants may walk as individuals or as part of a team, with or without a canine companion and can make a donation, collect pledges and earn prizes based on the amount raised

This event will feature canine contests with prizes, paw painting, a homerun derby, pet photobooth, vendors, food, music and more.

Good Choice Dog Training will also be training for the Canine Ninja Warrior Contest.
