Care­giver stress topic for pro­gram

CLIFTON PARK — Care Links of CAP­TAIN Com­mu­nity Ser­vices and the North­east­ern New York Chap­ter of the Alzheimer’s As­so­ci­a­tion host “Rec­og­niz­ing and Cop­ing with Care­giver Stress” at 2 p.m. Wed­nes­day at Christ Com­mu­nity Church, 1010 Route 146.

The hour-long pro­gram is aimed at those who are al­ready care­givers or who an­tic­i­pate be­com­ing care­givers and will ad­dress the emo­tional and phys­i­cal as­pects of car­ing for in­di­vid­u­als with phys­i­cal or men­tal lim­i­ta­tions.

Al­bany Barn hosts Fu­sion on Fri­day

AL­BANY — Al­bany Barn and Al­bany Chefs’ Wine & Food Fes­ti­val will host the an­nual Fu­sion Anti-gala be­gin­ning at 6 p.m. Fri­day at the Barn, 56 Sec­ond St.

The high-en­ergy event fea­ture cus­tom cock­tails

and cui­sine, a cof­fee bar, live mu­sic, a silent auc­tion and more.

Light the night walk for can­cer vic­tims

COLONIE — The Leukemia & Lym­phoma So­ci­ety Up­state New York/ Ver­mont Chap­ters are host­ing their an­nual Light the Night Walk be­gin­ning at 6 p.m. Satur­day at Siena Col­lege, 515 Loudon Road.

The one mile walk will fea­ture kid-friendly ac­tiv­i­ties and com­pli­men­tary food for guests.

Barn-themed event set with Ted Hilscher

COX­SACKIE — The Greene County His­tor­i­cal So­ci­ety is host­ing a spe­cial barn-themed pro­gram at 1 and 3 p.m. next Sun­day at the Bronck Mu­seum, Route 81.

Lo­cal his­to­rian Ted Hilscher, will present a slide show giv­ing the his­tory of the English and Dutch barns on the Bronck Farm­stead. Af­ter the pro­gram, guests can tour the grounds and the un­usual 13-sided barn.

Adult tick­ets are $10, GCHS Mem­bers and chil­dren $5.
