Above: Mo­hawk Hud­son Land Con­ser­vancy last month reached a fundrais­ing goal of $2.3 mil­lion for the group’s op­er­a­tions, en­abling it to grow from a staff of two to six, to am­plify out­reach and fundrais­ing ef­forts and con­nect with more landown­ers in Al­bany, Mont­gomery, and Sch­enec­tady coun­ties. It has also raised $4.7 mil­lion of its $5 mil­lion goal for land pro­tec­tion ef­forts, and hopes to raise the re­main­ing $300,000 in the up­com­ing months. Be­low: At its an­nual golf tour­na­ment, Al­bany Med­i­cal Cen­ter raised $134,363 for Bernard & Mil­lie Duker Chil­dren’s Hos­pi­tal. More than 200 golfers par­tic­i­pated at Schuyler Mead­ows Club in Loudonville on Sept. 20. BBL Con­struc­tion Ser­vices and Columbia De­vel­op­ment Group were the ti­tle co-spon­sors. This year’s ban­quet fea­tured nearly a dozen pa­tients and fam­i­lies served by the chil­dren’s hos­pi­tal.
