Celtics can’t solve Jazz

Donovan Mitchell had 28 points and six assists, bouncing back from one of his worst performanc­es of the season and leading the Utah Jazz to a 98-86 win over the Boston Celtics on Saturday night.

Ricky Rubio scored 20 points for Utah, which beat Boston for the second time in eight days and swept the season series.

Mitchell took 35 shots and did not record an assist in Friday night’s 113-107 loss at Philadelph­ia. He was far more efficient against Boston, going 10 for 21 from the field and 3 for 4 at the free-throw line.

Boston scored its fewest points since a 93-90 loss at Orlando on Oct. 22.

Kyrie Irving had 20 points for the Celtics, who had won two in a row. Clippers 127, Nets 118: Danilo Gallinari scored 28 points, Tobias Harris had 27 and the Los Angeles Clippers rallied to beat Brooklyn.

76ers 122, Hornets 119 (OT): Jimmy Butler knocked down a 3-pointer as time expired in overtime, and Philadelph­ia overcame a career-high 60 points from Kemba Walker to beat Charlotte.

Pacers 97, Hawks 89: Bojan Bogdanovic scored 22 points for Indiana. Shen grad Kevin Huerter had five points, three assists and three rebounds in 29 minutes for Atlanta.

Magic 130, Lakers 117: Nikola Vucevic had 36 points and 13 rebounds, D.J. Augustin added 22 points and Orlando beat Los Angeles.

Pelicans 125, Nuggets 115: Anthony Davis scored 40 points to lead New Orleans.

Raptors 122, Bulls 83: Fred Vanvleet scored 18 points as Toronto snapped a three-game skid.

Rockets 132, Kings 112: James Harden had 34 points as Houston won its fourth straight.

Mavericks 112, Warriors 109: Luka Doncic scored 24 points, including a short jumper that gave Dallas the lead for good.

Thunder 110, Suns 100: Paul George scored 32 points and Steven Adams added 26 as Oklahoma City won its 10th out of 11.
