Rangers stay hot at home

New York Vladislav Namestniko­v scored in the second period, Henrik Lundqvist made 39 saves and the New York Rangers beat the Florida Panthers 4-2 on Saturday night for their fifth consecutiv­e home win.

Chris Kreider had a goal and two assists for New York, which has won three of four overall. Brendan Smith and Filip Chytil also scored.

Namestniko­v gave the Rangers a 3-2 lead with his second of the season 2:37 into the middle period. Kreider helped put it away with a power-play score 7:49 into the third.

Red Wings 3, devils 2 (OT): Dylan Larkin scored 4:09 into overtime, Jonathan Bernier stopped 38 shots and Detroit beat New Jersey. New Jersey had won two in a row. Pavel Zacha and Blake Coleman scored for the Devils, and Keith Kinkaid (Union College) made 28 saves.

Sabres 3, Wild 2: Jason Pominville scored with 1:30 remaining and Buffalo extended its winning streak to five games with a come-from-behind victory over Minnesota.

Bruins 2, Coyotes 1: Jakob Forsbacka Karlsson and Jake Debrusk scored less than three minutes into the game, and Boston made that stand up for a victory over Arizona.

Lightning 6, Flyers 5 (OT): Anthony Cirelli scored 1:47 into overtime, and Tampa Bay beat Philadelph­ia after blowing a 5-1 lead in the third period.

Canadiens 3, Canucks 2: Jonathan Drouin scored a power-play goal with less than three minutes left to lead Montreal.

Senators 6, Penguins 4: Mark Stone and Matt Duchene each scored twice for Ottawa.

Blue Jackets 4, Hurricanes 1: Cam Atkinson scored three goals and assisted on another as Columbus defeated Carolina for its fifth victory in six games.

Predators 5, Kings 3: Calle Jarnkrok recorded his first career hat trick to lead Nashville. Ryan Ellis and Roman Josi each added two assists for the Preds.
