Kayla Waters, CPA, joined the tax planning and compliance team. Waters has more than 13 years of tax technical and business experience and previously served as vice president of tax at Westbrook Partners.

■ ALBANY MEDICAL Center Shivana Naidoo and Naema Qureshi — child, adolescent and adult psychiatrists — joined the Department of Psychiatry and were appointed assistant professors at Albany Medical College. Naidoo, who previously served as the child medical director at Desert Horizon Integrative Medicine in Mesa, Ariz., completed her child psychiatry fellowship at North Shore/hofstra
Long Island Jewish Medical Centerzucker Hillside in Glen Oaks, where she served as chief child psychiatry fellow. She completed her adult psychiatry residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center-university Hospital of Brooklyn.
Qureshi completed her child and adolescent fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital/mclean Hospital in Boston, where she served as a chief fellow, and completed her adult psychiatric training at the Harvard Longwood Residency Training Program in Boston, during which time she served as chief resident at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and completed a one-year fellowship focused on psychotherapy at Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute.

■ BAKER PUBLIC RELATIONS Dhani Hoyte was promoted to account executive. Hoyte joined in 2016 as an intern and was promoted to account coordinator.
Haley Moffatt joined as account coordinator and social media specialist. Moffatt’s responsibilities include assisting with the development and distribution of media materials, media outreach, social media strategy, content creation and event planning.

Andrew Cuomo’s administration and as a staff member on the New York state Democratic Senate Campaign Committee.
