Santacon planned Dec. 15 in Saratoga
SARATOGA — The Franklin Community Center is hosting the 8th annual Santacon at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15 at Bailey’s Saratoga, 37 Phila St.
This free event is considered to be the “Capital District’s Biggest Pub Crawl” and is for ages 21 and up. Attendees are asked to bring five or more non-perishable food items to be donated to the center’s food pantry.

Ballston Spa parade, tree lighting Friday
BALLSTON SPA — The Ballston Spa Business & Professional Association’s annual Ballston Spa Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting will begin at 6:30 p.m. Friday on Milton Ave.
Santa will be lighting the Christmas tree in Wiswall Park on Front Street following the parade.
Volunteers from the Ballston Spa Community Emergency Corps, Saratoga County Sheriff Department and U.S. Marine Corps will be collecting new, unwrapped toys for donation.

Winter Ice Show slated in Delmar
DELMAR — The Albany Figure Skating Club will hold its annual Winter Ice Show from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15 at the Bethlehem YMCA, 900 Delaware Ave.
The event will feature young figure skaters from the Capital Region in solo and group performances. A basket raffle and bake goods will also be available for purchase to benefit the club’s activities and programs.

Scholarship for ’19 Tamarac graduates
BRUNSWICK — The Finance Committee of the Center Brunswick United Methodist Church will be giving the Keyes Education Award to a deserving student from the Tamarac High School Class of 2019.
