Jamila Benmoussa joined St. Peter’s Diabetes & Endocrine Care. Board-certified in internal medicine, Benmoussa practices specialty care in endocrinology.
Fahad Farooq joined Pulmonary & Critical Care Services in Albany. Boardcertified in internal medicine, Farooq practices outpatient pulmonary medicine and inpatient critical care.
Allyson Eggan joined Capital Region Urology as a physician assistant. Eggan practices urological care.
Megan Mendelson joined Albany Associates in Cardiology as a nurse practitioner. Mendelson previously served as a registered nurse on the cardiovascular progressive care unit at St. Peter’s Hospital.
Julia Henze joined Albany Associates in Cardiology as a physician assistant. Henze previously worked at Cardiology Associates of Schenectady.
Samuel Hykin joined Samaritan Hospital Bariatric and Metabolic Care. Hykin practices as both a general and bariatric surgeon.

Erik “Rik” Baier was named president. Baier, who joined as chief financial officer in 2017, previously served as interim president.

Casian Monaco, a plastic and reconstructive surgeon with fellowship training in microsurgery, joined the medical team. Monaco is one of a growing group of physicians who provide specialized care at Saratoga Hospital because of its affiliation with Albany Med.

Robert “Tony” Majors joined Expresscare in Bennington, Vt., as a family nurse practitioner. Majors previously worked as a family nurse practitioner at K’s Diet Clinic in Trenton, Ga.
