While hosting an annual gathering of archaeologists, Emma Fielding (Courtney Thorne-smith) is thrust into the midst of a murder mystery when the president of the organization is poisoned shortly before announcing her successor. Most of the archaeologists at the event — including Emma’s self-important ex-fiancé (Mark Valley) — are suspects, so Emma and her FBI pal Jim Conner (James Tupper) work to solve the murder and a mysterious string of antiquities thefts that may be connected.
