Trump enablers will never admit truth
The president and his enablers can spin his speech and ensuing tweets any way they want. Several thousand people knew exactly what he meant. His words caused the insurrection that occurred Jan. 6, the death of five people, and the ransacking of the peoples' house.
President Donald Trump lost the election. His handpicked attorney general said there was no election fraud. Some 60 courts, including the Supreme Court, found no fraud. Republican and democratically elected governors in every state found no fraud. The Department of Homeland Security's cybersecurity department found no fraud. Jesus could have said there was no fraud and he wouldn’t be believed either.
Trump’s followers drank the Kool-aid. The Republican Party members like
Ted Cruz and Josh Hawley along with our own Elise
Stefanik have been more than happy to perpetuate the lies. They are Trump wannabes, and they need those who drank the Koolaid to support their own political ambitions. They don’t care about truth or our democracy — just power.
What the Trump followers do not want to accept is that they have been had, they have been played, and they have been made fools of. It is a fact they will never acknowledge. They would rather watch democracy die than admit they are wrong.
Those leaders in Washington, especially those who have made excuses, who turned a blind eye and perpetuated the lies over the last four years are every bit as culpable for the Jan. 6 insurrection as the president. They, too, would rather watch democracy die than lose power.
