Missing man found dead in Coeymans creek

COEYMANS — A town man who was reported missing on Thursday was found dead Friday morning in the Hannacroix Creek, police said.

The man, who was not identified, was found submerged in the creek in an

area near where friends had last seen him, Sheriff Craig Apple said in a news release.

Members of the sheriff ’s department search and rescue team, using a drone, located the man deceased, police said.

Police said there were no signs of foul play. An investigation was continuing.
