Ice cream social fundraiser May 21

GLOVERSVIL­LE — The Fulton County Historical Society's annual ice cream social will take place 6 to 8 p.m. May 21 at the museum, 237 Kingsboro Ave.

Attendees can enjoy a make-your-own sundae provided by Stewart’s Shops. The museum will be open for self-guided exploratio­n.

Tickets $5 a person or 5 tickets for $20. Distancing and safety guidelines must be observed.

SARATOGA SPRINGS — Drop-off donations of toilet paper rolls to benefit community organizati­ons between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. May 22 at the Wilton Mall Saturday Farmers Market at Bow Tie Cinemas and Bon-ton parking lots.

Sponsored by Youth2yout­h Helping Youth and Toilet Paper Trio, it’s the 3rd Community Care POP-UP event, “Toilet Paper Towers.”

Whats collected will be given to Franklin Community Center, Wellspring, Lifeworks/soup Kitchen and Saratoga Senior Center.

Youth2 is an organizati­on based in Saratoga Springs working to improve lives around the world.

Farmers market opens Saturday

COLONIE — Fresh produce, dairy, meat, spirits, plants and pet treats will be among the wares at Colonie Farmers Market 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, May 15 in the Crossings of Colonie parking lot on Albany Shaker Road.
