Thanks for the help with solar project

We were delighted to be included in the article about residential solar panels (“Sunny future,” May 2). Our solar project was one small thing we felt we could do to help minimize the effects of human activity on our climate.

It is our hope that other homeowners in Troy and beyond will be inspired to do something similar. In addition to Kasselman Solar, we want very much to acknowledge the invaluable assistance of Barb Nelson at the nonprofit Troy Architectural Program, their architect Joel Altschul, and master craftsman Mike Mcdonough of Rising Earth Building who constructed not only a solid but also a very attractive building. We couldn’t have achieved such a fine result without them.
