Thanks to the Buffalo Bills’ 47-17 win over the New England Patriots and the 36 points the Bills scored during Sunday’s NFL game against the Kansas City Chiefs, SEFCU will donate almost $15,000 to FeedMore WNY.

The combined point total and SEFCU’s respective pledges of $125 and $250 per point scored by Buffalo netted $14,875.

Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectad­y presented a check last week for $13,390 to the American Diabetes Associatio­n (Upstate New York) to support its mission to prevent and cure diabetes.

Through the Together We Can Help frontend fundraisin­g campaign, guests at the Saratoga Springs store and others in South Burlington and Williston, Vt., locations chose to give to regional organizati­ons. Recipients included Lake Luzernebas­ed Double H Ranch, which received $8,575.

The annual Montgomery County SPCA Bowl-A-Thon for the Animals has been scheduled for 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, at Kelly’s Imperial Lanes on Wallins Corners Road in Amsterdam. The event benefits the MCSPCA Animal Shelter. The $15 per bowler registrati­on fee includes two games and rental shoes. Individual bowlers raising $100 or more will bowl for free and receive a T-shirt.

Johnson Schenectad­y County Older New Yorker of the Year awards, which are sponsored by the Schenectad­y County Department of Senior and Long Term Care Services. Amelia DeLuke, youth leader of Youth2-Youth Helping Youth, says the group is holding a blanket donation drive of new and gently used cotton, wool, fleece, and acrylic blankets. This first Community Care PopUP of 2022, “Bundles of Blankets” will be organized by Youth2 and held from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 12, snow or shine. There will be a COVID-safe drop off at 112 Spring St. parking lot (entry on Court Street) in Saratoga Springs. This event will help supply blankets to those in need.

Southern Adirondack Realtors presented a $4,000 check to the Adirondack Vets House in Glens Falls for funds raised at the associatio­n’s Holiday Gala and Silent Auction. The donations will help fund the operations of the Adirondack Vets House, a nonprofit longer-term facility serving homeless and at-risk veterans in Northern Saratoga, Warren, Hamilton, and Washington counties.

has been selected by local Hannaford store leadership as the benefiting organizati­on in the brand-new Hannaford Bloomin' 4 Good Program for the month of February. Every $12 Bloomin' 4 Good Bouquet with the red circle sticker sold supports an organizati­on local to the Hannaford in which it was purchased. Saratoga County Office for the Aging was selected as the February beneficiar­y by store leadership in Ballston Spa. The Office for the Aging will receive a $1 donation for every $12 Bloomin' 4 Good Bouquet purchased at this Hannaford location in February.
