Kopach, Kevin J. Sr.

COLONIE — Kevin John "Kope" Kopach, Sr., 73 of Colonie, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 28, 2022, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. He fought a valiant, five year battle with cancer. He was born in Troy and was the son of the late Stephen and Genevieve Kopach.

Kevin was predeceased by his brothers, Michael and Andrew Kopach. He was a 1967 graduate of Linton High School, served in the U.S. Air Force Reserve and was a member of the American Legion.

Kevin was the longtime superintendent at Wunderlich Sand & Gravel in Latham, having been instrumental in many projects throughout the region. He was a quintessential Jack of all trades, never afraid to help family and friends. Kevin was a volunteer for 25 years at Colonie Little League, serv
