Pellerin, Carol E. (Vath)

NASSAU — Carol E. (Vath) Pellerin, 82 of Nassau, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2022, at St. Peter’s Hospital with her loving family at her side. Born in Albany on July 19, 1939, Carol was the daughter of the late James and Doris (Harrigan) Kane.

Carol was a devoted homemaker who loved to cook for her family. She especially enjoyed cooking with her grandchildren.

Carol was born into a big family with six brothers and five sisters. She is survived by her children, her son Faustin Vath and daughterin-law Jacqueline; her daughter Joyce and son-inlaw John Chowenhill. Carol is also survived by her grandchildren, Kayla Vath, Nova Vath, Michael Chowenhill, Shane Chowenhill, Crystal Chowenhill; and two greatgrandchildren, Andre Chowenhill and Gabriella Radler.

Carol’s family wishes to thank the ICU Staff at St. Peter’s Hospital for their care.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Heart Association.
