Schiesel, Eileen T.

GUILDERLAND — Eileen T. Schiesel, age 95, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2022, with her family by her side.

She was born in Buffalo on July 3, 1926, to Edward and Irene Gelen. Eileen was loving and devoted to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She brought much joy to those who knew her with her sense of humor, kindness and gentle demeanor.

Eileen was predeceased by her husband, William; her parents, her siblings, Edward and Jean; and her son-inlaw, Kevin. She is survived by her children, Linda O’Brien, JoAnne (Jerry) Giagni, Mary (Gid) Fidell, Paul (Terry) Schiesel and Nancy Schiesel; nine grandchildren and 11 greatgrandchildren and a special friend, Rini Anil.
