Troy man accused of Green Island assault

GREEN ISLAND — A Troy man is charged with felony assault stemming from a domestic incident, Green Island police said.

On Jan. 12, police responded to James Street for a physical domestic incident. Officers located a woman with a cut to her left eye that required stitches to close. The suspect, 41, fled, and an arrest warrant was issued. Last week, he was apprehended on a parole warrant and also charged with criminal weapon possession and endangering the welfare of a child and jailed without bail.
