Phillips, Anne G.

DELMAR — Anne G. Phillips passed away at her home on February 1, 2022, at the age of 69 after a short battle with cancer.

Anne was an attorney for the State of New York, Office of General Services for over 37 years. During that span, she was named as acting counsel for the agency on two occasions. She also once acted as director of Information Technology. She was an avid reader of science fiction and fantasy and alternate history fiction.

Anne is survived by her husband of 43 years, Tom; and her daughter, Amy. She is also survived by her grandson, Easton. Anne was preceded in death by her father, James Gemmell. She is survived by her mother, Mary Gemmell; her sister, Susan Quemere; as well as her brothers, William and James Gemmell.

Services will be held in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 35 Adams Place, Delmar on February 10, at 10 a.m. Interment will take place in the spring with a private family ceremony.
