Sunday paper to carry offering
Stories highlighting businesses, leaders find a new platform
We're trying something new in 2022.
For more than 10 years, the Times Union has published stories under the banner of Women@Work in a standalone magazine. Now we will be bringing those stories about women business and organizational leaders, as well as issues of importance to women in the workplace, to a wider audience on a regular basis in the Sunday Business section.
After today, Women@Work content is also scheduled to appear on the first Sunday of the following months: March, May, June, August, September, November and December. You will also be able to read Women@Work stories in the quarterly tabloid Upstate Business, scheduled to publish next in April.
In addition to shining a spotlight on notable women and their endeavors in print and on timesunion.com, Women@Work also is a networking group for Capital Region women in business and in the workforce to connect, exchange ideas and share wisdom.
Membership for new members begins at $49 annually, which includes free admission to member breakfasts nine times a year, plus discounts on special events such as our annual Summit. Breakfasts are held typically on the second Wednesday of each month, except during the
summer. We're still following pandemic protocols and hosting these events virtually over Zoom calls but hope to be able to resume in-person events in the not-too-distant future.
