Bruins’ Swayman gets shutout
Goalie makes 30 saves; Frederic and Lazar score goals
Jeremy Swayman made 30 saves, and the Boston Bruins beat the Ottawa Senators 2-0 on Saturday.
It was the 23-year-old Swayman’s second shutout of the season and No. 4 for his career.
Trent Frederic and Curtis Lazar scored for Boston (27-16-3), which had dropped two in a row.
Matt Murray made 35 saves for Ottawa (16-24-4). Murray stopped 77 of the 80 shots he faced over the past two games.

Wild 3, Hurricanes 2: Kevin Fiala and Frederick Gaudreau each had a goal and an assist for Minnesota, which held on for a victory over Carolina after consecutive goals by Hurricanes star Andrei Svechnikov tightened the game in the third.
Canucks 3, Maple Leafs 2:
Thatcher Demko had a careerhigh 51 saves as Vancouver beat Toronto. J.T. Miller had a goal and an assist for the Canucks.
