Barabara Rice new director of the APA
RAY BROOK — Barbara Rice was appointed executive director of the Adirondack Park Agency at this month’s meeting, said Gov. Kathy Hochul, who made the recommendation.
Rice succeeds Terry Martino, who will retire from the agency after more than 12 years. Rice was an APA board member from 2016 through 2018. Her background includes local government administration and community land use planning and development. Most recently she was Hochul’s assistant secretary for economic development.
