Zido, Stephen J.

QUEENS — Stephen J. Zido, "Muppy," 69 of Stephentown, passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at his home, surrounded by his loving family and buddy, Benny, their Pit Bull.

Stephen was born on October 7, 1952, in Richmond Hill, Queens to Anna Baque Zido and the late Stephen P. Zido at Mary Immaculate Hospital. He graduated from John Adams High School. He worked in a bike shop as a teen, and went on to become a machinist on Long Island for many years.

In addition to his father, Stephen was predeceased by his loving wife, Christina Borowski. In addition to his mother, Stephen is lovingly remembered by his son, Stephen D. (Becky) Zido; daughter, Christine (Jeannine Morell) Zido; granddaughter, Graciana Zido; brothers, Joseph (Mark Brown) Zido, Thomas (Noreen) Zido, and David (Sandy Wallace) Zido; and many friends.
