Georgia man accused of menacing woman

Suspect in Albany case was armed with a handgun

A 23-year-old Georgia man faces charges after a domestic-related incident Friday morning at an apartment on the 400 block of Livingston Avenue between Quail Street and North Lake Avenue, city police said.

Officers arrived at the apartment around 7:05 a.m. after receiving a call about a man armed with a handgun threatening a woman during an argument. Near the apartment, officers interacted with the man, who began to run away from the officers on foot.

He was apprehended by the officers, the handgun was recovered, and he was taken into custody. The Dacula man was charged with menacing and criminal possession of a weapon, arraigned and jailed.
