— Marion F. "Penny" Morgan, 69, died on Monday, March 7, 2022, at Samaritan Hospital in Troy with her family at her side.

She was born in Fort Dix, N.J. on June 4, 1952, the daughter of the late William and Marion Lewis Palmer. She was raised and educated in Bricktown, N.J. and moved to Petersburg­h at the age of 16.

Penny was employed by the W.J. Cowee, Inc. in Berlin for eight years and later did private duty nursing for over twenty years, caring for people at their homes.

She was a member of the Petersburg­h Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, fishing with her late husband, and dancing when she was younger.

She was the wife of the late James Edward Morgan Sr. who died in 2008; beloved mother of Stephen E. Morgan of Alexandria, Va., James E. (Leta) Morgan Jr. of Grafton, Nina A. Morgan of Petersburg­h and Julie Harrison of North Adams, Mass.; grandmothe­r of Eddie Cahill, Jenna Morgan, Hunter Harrison, Taylor, Jason, Garrett, Lydia and Wyatt Morgan; great-grandmothe­r of Allen Cahill; sister of Lynda (Edward) Kelkuski of North Carolina, Ezra Church of Strasburg, Va. and the late Eric Church; and special friend of Shannon H. Morgan of Grafton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebratio­n of her life at the family homestead, 20 Stillman Village Rd., Petersburg­h on May 28, starting at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributi­ons may be made to the Petersburg­h Rescue Squad, P.O. Condolence book at ParkerBros­Memorial.com. played the piano. Bernard loved his family and enjoyed his grandchild­ren and great-grandchild­ren, who are spread across the country.

In addition to his parents, Bernard was predecease­d by his wife, Marilyn Neadle; brother, Richard (Judith) Neadle; brother-in-law, Floyd Mickel; and son-in-law, Gary Hayes. Bernard is survived by his children, Sharon (Ed) Collins of Dunedin, Fla., Brenda Hayes of Fort Collins, Colo., Beth Ames of Delanson, Anne (Bob) Luttrull of Spokane, Wash., Arthur (Leveda) Neadle of Watauga, Texas, Laura Neadle of Schenectad­y, and Cecelia (Steve) Baum of Delanson. He is also survived by 15 grandchild­ren, 13 great-grandchild­ren, and several nieces and nephews. Bernard is also survived by three siblings, Ronald (Lois Hodges) Neadle of New York, Noreen Mickel of New York, and Leon (Beverly) Neadle of Arizona. The family wishes to thank the staff at Daughters of Sarah Nursing Facility for the extraordin­ary care they gave Bernard, especially in his final days.

A graveside service in the Saratoga National Cemetery will be held privately at a later date.
