WYNANTSKILL

— C. Judith Parks, 85 of Acker Avenue, died on Monday, March 7, 2022, at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany, after a time of declining health, with family at her side.

Judy was born in Troy, the daughter of the late Frank H. "Bliz" and Bernice "Bernie" Blanchet Shoemaker Sr. Judy grew up in Sand Lake and was a graduate of the Averill Park High School, class of 1953. Judy was a homemaker for a number of years, raising her family. She had resided in Wynantskill for 37 years. She had a 25-year career at R.P.I. as a business manager and retired in 2001. and retired in 2001. After her retirement, she volunteered her time at the North Greenbush Library. Judy enjoyed bowling, was an avid reader, enjoyed puzzles, garage sales, and trips to Atlantic City. She would enjoy walks around Wynantskill with her late brother Jerry.

Survivors include her children, David (Michele) St. Pierre, Lynne (Mike) Weber, Randy (Sherie) St. Pierre, Jacqueline "Jake" Parks and Kelly (Jack) Clancy; her brothers and sisters, Lorraine DeLair, Harold (Kim Sonhui) Shoemaker, Sharron "Chick" (Cliff) Shepard, Timothy (Maureen) Shoemaker and Ronald (Brenda) Shoemaker; 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and five great-greatgrandchildren, several nieces, nephews and their families. Judy was the sister of the late Lawrence, Gerald and Frank Shoemaker Jr.; and aunt of the late Brian Elting.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call from 46:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 16, at the PerryKomdat Funeral Chapel, 2691 NY 43 at Glass Lake, Averill Park followed by a funeral service at 6:30 p.m. Spring interment will be in the Sand Lake Union Cemetery.
