NORTH GREENBUSH — Richard V. "Dick" Hoult, 84 of North Greenbush, died on March 23, 2022, at Albany Medical Center following a brief illness.

He is survived by his loving and beloved wife, Judith Q. Hoult (Quinlan); daughter, Kati Owen and her husband Guy Owen of Cumming, Ga.; son, Rich Hoult of Voorheesville; and grandchildren, Chrissy Hoult of Voorheesville, Maggie Owen of Denver, Colo., Dori Owen of Cumming, Ga, and Ian Hoult of Voorheesville. Growing up in Delmar, he was a graduate of Bethlehem Central High School, where he played on the basketball and tennis teams. He went on to SUNY Albany, where he earned his master’s degree in education. He was a teacher, with the bulk of his career as a math teacher at Columbia High School in East Greenbush. His greatest passion was coaching and playing tennis, having played in, and winning numerous local tennis tournaments. He spent his life providing for his family and knowing everything.
