Try food, not missiles to bring peace to Ukraine

-

There are no good outcomes to the war in Ukraine however, there is a unique opportunity.

Let’s feed what’s left of the Russian army outside Kyiv. Set up nearby feeding areas. Instead of missiles, send them white flags and bread, borscht and beer. Show them pictures of what Russians have already destroyed, especially the maternity hospital. When they lay down their guns and ammunition, provide portable toilets along the way to Kyiv, where they will find shelter, more food and drink.

Of course, there are tactical problems with an effort like this, but neutral United Nations forces and the international Red Cross could figure it out while we accumulate great quantities of bread, beer and beets to send.

Got a better idea?
