Student videos on voting wanted

ALBANY — High school juniors and seniors in Albany County may submit a two- to six-minute video highlighting student voter eligibility, the voting process, or the importance of voting by young people by May 15 to enter a League of Women Voters voter video competition for Albany County.

The winning student will be awarded a scholarship prize of $500 and the video will be distributed to Albany County high schools and beyond for use in youth voter education. Application forms are available at https://lwvalbany.org.
