BALLSTON SPA — Gloria Lenore McMullen Willmott passed away on April 12, 2022.

Gloria was born on September 7, 1934, to Erma McElroy McMullen and Walter McMullen, in Santa Fe, N.M. She graduated from high school in Alamosa, Colo. and from Southern Methodist University with a B.A. in psychology. She was an L.P.N. employed by Ellis Hospital and Four Winds Psychiatric Hospital.

When you mentioned Gloria’s name to anyone, it always brought a smile to their faces. Everyone loved her sweet and patient optimism. She faced many medical challenges with strength and grace and she never wanted to be a bother to anyone. Her passion was playing bridge with her many gal pals in the International Bridge group of over 30 years. The group not only played bridge but took many trips and cruises together. She will leave a great hole in many lives.

She was predeceased by her parents and brother, Robert Harland McMullen. She is survived by her daughters: Janine Lenore Neal, and Karen Marie Levine, her husband, Gary, and their children, Jillian, Emma and Gabriel; her sons, Gregory Kyle Willmott and his sons, Kyle and Connor, and Derrick Lowell Willmott, his wife Sandra, and double sets of twins, Erin and Peyton and Cameron and Katherine. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews in Colorado, and her first greatgrandchild, Jasper.

A celebration of life was held on April 15, at The Factory in Ballston Spa.

In lieu of flowers, she requested donations be made to Gateway House of Peace, 479 Rowland St., Ballston Spa, NY, 12020 or at gatewayhouseofpeace.org and The Nature Conservatory, 4245 North Fairfax Dr., Suite 100 Arlington, VA 22203-1606 or at nature.org .
