Feura Bush Library closing, contents for sale

-

FEURA BUSH — The contents of the Feura Bush Neighborhood Library are up for sale, including hundreds of children’s and adult fiction and nonfiction books, 33⅓ rpm, 45s, tapes, and CD sound recordings, VHS and DVR movies, toys, board games, puzzles and some furniture including small wooden bookcases and steel shelving.

The sale will be every Friday and Saturday in May from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m..

Begun in the 1980s by the Feura Bush Neighborhood Association, the library was run by volunteers with donated books in a one-room schoolhouse on the back of the Jerusalem Reformed Church, 1433 Indian Fields Road.

The program lapsed during COVID and the church has asked for it to be emptied since there is no activity there.
