Little Black Dress Initiative nears

ALBANY — The Junior League of Albany’s fifth annual Little Black Dress Initiative will take place through April 29.

The week-long fundraising campaign is heldvto raise awareness about poverty and its effects on women and children in the Capital Region. Participants wear one little black dress or black outfit for the week to highlight the crippling and often invisible effects limited resources can have on quality of life.
